Toolbar Question

Hi -

My toolbars have disappeared from being docked. I can go into "Customize Toolbar" and see them as options, see that they SHOULD be docked and when I check them to be docked, they just disappear and do not dock to the top of the document. When I uncheck them, they appear again as "undocked"

Of course, like many things, this is new and originally had no problem.

Any advice would be appreciated.

In the upper right corner of the doc window, there is a button like a
lozenge, or a tic-tac lying on its side. That lozenge collapses the
toolbar space where docked toolbars live, and it is in all Mac programs
(that I know of), so you could run into this same problem in many other
apps.

See if clicking the lozenge brings back the toolbars.
