toolbar

Hi i'm working with word for mac 2001. Without any reason my toolbar
disappeared. Even the 'standard bar' on top of the screen dos not work
anymore. for example when i click file - toolbar - edit or one of the others
it highlights but no scrollbar appears. The only thing that works is fonts.
I even can't get into preferences...

who knows a solution for me?

Two suggestions

Try renaming your Normal template and restarting Word
For Office X, it's located at /Microsoft Office X/Normal; Office 2004,
located at /Users/<username>/Documents/Microsoft User Data/.

If that doesn't work, try deleting the Word prefs from
/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/Microsoft.
