toolbars always on top?

Hi,

My toolbars (any combo, usually formatting and standard) are always on top, for some reason, so that I have trouble seeing the top area of pop-up windows such as the Save As window. Without closing the toolbars, it's even difficult to get to the title bar of the partially hidden window so that I can drag it elsewhere. Any suggestions for something I can adjust?

Thanks!

Your toolbars have become "undocked" so that they are floating in the User
Interface layer in front of the document.

To re-dock them, drag them down the screen a little way, then slowly move
them back upwards until they "click" into place.

Hope this helps

John, you are my hero! I have been struggling with this problem (tops of
documents being hidden by toolbars) for almost a week now and couldn't
resolve it. Couldn't figure out how it happened in the first place. I applied
your fix and now it's back to normal. Thanks so much!
