Toolbars on shared workbooks

How can I keep the toolbars that I choose, and only the
toolbars that I choose, displaying for all worksheets?

It seems that when I open a saved worksheet last saved by
someone else with different toolbars displayed, those
additional toolbars now display on my screen too, which
reduces my worklspace and is just a little irritating.

Is there a way around that? At what point are the
toolbars associated with the files? Can I get my toolbar
settings to override any associated with the files?
