I recently updated Office 97 to Office 2003. When Excel 2003 came up it had
my customized toolbars from my 97 version and then after about a month Excel
crashed. The toolbars that I have created come up alright, but it appears
that Excel resets the default toolbars to their default state. For example,
I added about 10 buttons to the Cut & Paste toolbar. When I closed Excel and
reopened it I expected to see the altered Cut & Paste, but it was back to the
default state.
I have unloaded & reloaded Office 2003 twice with the same results. The
name of the toolbar is Excel11.xlb and it is in the C:\Documents and
Settings\chucks.SCAPCA\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel path. What is
happening?
I use the same toolbars on my home computerin Excel 2002 and it works fine.
Personal.xls is fine. It has all of the macros that I have created.
