Tools Advanced Settings Word for Mac X

J

James D. Bower

In previous versions of Word there was a documented way of starting the
application without a new blank document by setting a "switch" in the
following menu:

Tools>Tools Advanced Settings>
then opening one of the Categories in the dialog box that appers and
entering a "switch" configured as "Switch=/n"

Does this still work in Word X? If so, is there a downside? What is the
exact syntax? I have searched the Knowledge base and help files in for
nought!

Thanks,

Jim Bower
