Tooltips in Office XP

In the File Open dialog box, when you hover the mouse
over a document a tooltip opens showing file info.

How do you turn this feature off?

Hi Ron,

This is controlled by Windows rather than Office. Open Windows
Explorer, go to Tools/Folder Options and turn off "Show popup
description for folder and desktop items"
