Top Right exit X not highligted

After reinstall my exit X in the top right corner is no longer highlighted
and I have to use the File drop down menu to exit. How do I correct his?

Do you have Groupwise installed? If so, go to the MS knowledge base, select
Excel as the product and enter keyword Groupwise, follow the instructions set
forth in the article

My internet was down at the time I responded to this so I couldnt look it up
