total of text boxes in form

Hi,

I have 8 separte text boxes on a form to enter dates in for meetings i would
like a total of how many meetings have been held?

So a total out of the 8 boxes?

A total of what? If your text boxes hold dates, you don't want to sum up
the dates, do you?
