The third icon from the left (with two + signs) will give the total number
of pages in whatever you are printing. If you are printing the whole
workbook, you will get the number of pages in the entire workbook.
Thanks, but this assumes that the entire workbook would
be printed at one time. I want to be able to print one
worksheet, but know what page number it is for the whole
workbook. Is this possible?
Hi Julie
File | Page Setup ? Header/Footer click on footer
dropdown arrow and select Page 1 of ?
or use the icon buttons to enter &[Page] and &[Pages]
place an of between the two ie &[Page] of &[Pages]

Unless you want to write a macro to go through and count all the pages, then
update the hard coded number in your footer/header - then there is no built
in support for what you describe.
