totals in page footer of last page of group

I am doing sum calculations in the page footer and I
followed info from article 132017 . I get the totals
however they are at the bottom of every page and I only
want them at the bottom of the last page of a given
invoice. The invoice reports are grouped by client id and
Job #. There could be multiple pages for each client id
& job # and it is printing the totals on the bottom of
all the pages.

Please help,
Thanks,
Jp

Add an Invoice footer in the Sorting and Grouping and move
your calculations to there.

I want them to be located at the bottom of the page
though no matter how many line items are in the invoice.
Won't this just put the totals at the bottom of the last
item.
Please help,
Thanks,

Hi JP
You can have multiple headers and footers. There are
Report Header and footer, Page Header and Footer and Group
Header and footer. This is determined at the sorting and
grouping window of the report.
It sounds like your Sorting and Grouping should be
Client Id
Job #
Invoice - with the page footer set to yes
Here is where you will put your calculation. Am I
understanding this correctly?

Yes,

I know I can have multiple headers and footers but when
the totals are in the end of the group footer that I want
them for they show up on the invoice at the end of the
last item listed.Often too high up for only a few items
listed. I would like them to be at the bottom of that
last page for that group so the clients eye always goes
to the bottom of the invoice.

Again, I have them in the PAGE Footer but once again they
end up on the bottom of EVERy page even if the group is
multiple pages. I would like the totals only listed at
the BOTTOM of the last page of the given group.

Please keep helping - thanks,
JP
