Touble adding files to the project center

HI there,

I am having trouble adding files to a project in the project center. I am trying to add a link to a file that I created using Keynote. I have tried adding the same file by clicking on the green plus icon and selecting the file in the window that follows, I click "open in that window but the file never appears. Other file types apear just fine, PDF's, PowerPoint, word etc.
Actually I just tried to add a Pages document too and that fales to appear.

Any help would be very welcome.

After some internet searching I learnt that some file types are not
recognized due to how there program saves them, I think they are saved as
packets (or words to that effect). From what I can deduce these files are
not going to show up in my document list in my Project. My solution until
all these file formats and programs decide to play nicely is this.

1. Make an alias of the Pages and Keynote documents

2. Drag the alias into the window that opens when the watch folder with the
hard drive icon is selected.

The files don't show up in the files list but at least it is associated with
the project and easy to find.

I know this work around may not be right for some but hopefully this will
help someone with the same trouble.
