Trace Precedents

Hi,

I have an Excel Spreadsheet that contains Trace Precedents
and Trace Dependents arrows.
When I click on the arrow I should be able to see the cell
reference but nothing happens.

Does anyone know what settings allow you to see the cell
reference when you click on the arrow?

Ruth,

From what I understand, the cell reference will only appear in a GoTo dialog
box if the Precedent or Dependent cell is on another worksheet. This will
be evident by the Trace line being dashed. If the relevant cell is on the
same sheet, it will take you straight to that cell, with the Trace line
denoted by the solid blud line.
