Traceability

Hi
I have another point.
I can create baselines and track against the baselines.
This works well and gives me a good idea where we were delayed or early.
Now:
We work with some suppliers which regularly shift their delivery dates.
Is there some kind of history, how often we shifted and how long each time?

Hi Kay,

If you use Project 2002 or 2003 there is a compare project version utility
you could use. See FAQ #36 at:

www.mvps.org/project

You could also use the spare custom Start, Finish, and Duration fields
(Start1, Finish 1, Duration1 etc.) to store the historical data.

If you are using Project 2002 or 2003, you may also save up to 11 Baselines.

Hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Julie
