Tracing Actual work effort

Not having access to Project Server or EPK SQL databases, could someone tell
me how EPK takes Actual Work Effort from the Timesheet within EPK to Project
Professional? I could probably find it with the data dictionaries, but I
don't have access to them.

I'm more interested in knowing where this value is stored once it gets to
MSP. What field is it stored in? Which db table? Is this maneuverable?
