Tracing Logic

Longshot question. Does anyone remember Hornet? You used to be able to trace
the logic link from activity to activity forwards and backwards, selecting
the driving link each way. That was a fantastic tool. Is there anyway that
this could be perforned in MSP using VBA?

Certainly. Rod Gill wrote a book on VBA with MSProject. You can try
Googling his name. The book published through www.msprojectexperts.com and
they have links to it.

If you search around, Rod gives you the Macro.... try www.vbabook.com Also,
try looking for Jack Dahlgren's site, he has one too.

I have one, I am just out of town and can't get it to you. We are all
heading to Seattle for a Microsoft Conference.

If you can't find it, post back and I can e-mail you one in the next few
days. You need VBA, right?

Something else to try. There is an add in from www.CriticalTools.com called
PERT CHART EXPERT. It runs about $200 and is a fantastic tool... makes
network diagrams, bi-directional link traces, etc.
