track available skill sets in project

I need to track the availability of skilled workers to compose teams. I have
a number of workers who will have one or more of 5 skills. I need to compose
teams of six workers where each skill is represented once and one twice. An
individual worker can only represent one skill at a time regardless of how
many skills they hold. Taking into account availability issues such as skill
expiry (all skills will expire at same time so could be tracked as generic
availability) and end of contract I need to track how many identically
profiled teams I can compose at any one time. A nice to have would be to mark
certain workers as outside contractors and limit the number that can be used
overall to six at a time.

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

There's no way to do this in Project. You can assign teams or individuals,
but you cannot assign a team and a man from that team.
