Track call follow ups

I want to be able to create a FU list to track only calls. It should be a
list of only calls sorted by follow up date that I can click on and would
take me to the contacts info where I could view all previous calls and easily
log a new call. Is there a way to customize office to provide this? I know
that office has a follow up/ task list but I would like this to be for only
calls. I make 50 or more calls a day and have a follow up call list of like
a hundred or so. It ends up with a follow up to do list cluttered with my
calls.
