track change/ alert for change in Project

Hi All,

In our organization five persons are working on updating/modifying/
deleting the tasks. Is there a way by which i get to know when someone
has changed the Project? and if yes, what changes have been made to
the project.
We are using MS Project 2007 and the Project is in a SharePoint
internal site.

Thanks,
SAM

Hello sam,

Not fully. Project 2007 has a feature called "Compare Project
Versions" where you can compare two saved copies of the same file.
It will show added tasks, deleted tasks, where durations were
modified - but Project does not have a versioning feature such as
Word. I suggest making sure that each modifier of the Project plan
is responsible for communicating his/her specific changes to other
users. Perhaps keeping an ongoing note on changed tasks would help.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
