Track Change Problem

When I delete a word with track changes on it is
automatically reinserted when I press the space bar. This
only happens to one word in particular - any ideas?

<duh> What word? Which version of Word?

If we don't have enough information to reproduce the problem,
it's really difficult to have ideas...
