Track Changes / Audit

I am aware of the compare changes functionality with Project but it seems
cumbersome to me. It simply shows the changes with no explanation for them or
who made th change.


I was wondering if anyone has any advice on an alternative method. I am
looking for something that will record what the change is (ie Resource Sub,
Task Duration change) and ask the person who made the change for details. It
is also important that this is done for all projects and stored centrally.

Has anyone seen a way to accomplish this?

The best way to accomplish this is through education. Teach you PM's to add
notes when they make a change. If you require some of the changes captured
in a relational database, use SQL triggers.
