Multiple users take turns reviewing a document with track changes on. Each
user has their own name in the Word options-user name.
User1 (Tom) makes changes and adds comments. While making the edits Word
identifies the changes as being made by User1 (Tom). User1 saves the file and
the changes are now comments are no identifed as being made by "Author".
User2 (Rich) opens the file and inserts their changes/comments. While making
the edits Word identifies the changes as being made by User2 (Rich). User2
saves the file adn all changes/comments are identified as being made by
Author.
In 2003 we would see the changes tagged as being made by each user using the
user name in Word options. In 2007 we cannot get this to stick as upon save
all changes/comments appear to made by 1 user named "Author". We cannot tell
who made a particular change.
Anyone else having this issue?
Suggestions?
