Track Changes items look different on two computers

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I use Word 2008 on an Intel iMac.

My client uses Word 2004 on a PC (not sure which OS).

If I select all text in a document and change the font, my client sees a formatting change bubble for every single paragraph.

She tells me that when she selects all text in a document and changes the font, she sees only one formatting change bubble for the whole document.

I suspect that this may be a backward-compatibility issue between versions 2008 and 2004.

Is there anything I can do to make tracked changes appear the same on both computers?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Gregg:

No, sorry, no answer for this.

Use styles for formatting. And turn off "Keep track of formatting" in the
document. The setting leads to document corruption, and does not produce
useful information :)

Use styles, and if you want to change the formatting, change the style.
Much quicker and more reliable, and it doesn't give you visual pollution in
your tracked changes.

Cheers
