In Word 2004, large changes such as deletions spawn a balloon indicating a change which allows acceptance or rejection. Punctuation changes, however, either have no balloon (such as when a comma is added), or just show a deletion (such as when a comma is replaced by a semi-colon). I have no idea how to accept these punctuation changes, except by physically overwriting them--a long, laborious process. Even the ones that have the check-mark on the balloons leave behind the underlining and the marker bar indicating change, when accepted. How do I get rid of those, or do they not interfere with a page-layout program. I cannot just accept all changes at once, since some are in, and some out.
