Track Changes - search by author?

Does anyone know of a way in Word 2000 to search for changes by author
name? We typically have documents that go back and forth between
parties for multiple changes, and trying to track down a handful of
changes one person made from a host of other changes is very difficult.
(If MSFT hasn't made this a feature yet, they should!) Thanks!

Hi mdscofield,

I'm not sure if it's the same procedure in Word 2000 as it is in Word
2003, but what I do when I want to only see comments/changes by certain
reviewers I do the following:

- On the main menu, go to View>Toolbars>Reviewing
- When the Reviewing toolbar appears, click on "Show" > "Reviewers">
and you'll get a drop down box that will show you the names of all the
reviewers. If you unselect the ones you don't want to see, you should
only see the comments/changes that apply to the one reviewer you've
left selected.

Again, I'm not sure if it's the same in Word 2000, but hopefully it is
somewhat similar.

Good luck with this!

Karen
