Track Changes the old way

I have to update some files using Track Changes and the latest versions of
Word do not use the strikeout method of commenting the deleted text, it
wants to put the deleted text in the right margin. How can I get Word to
show the deleted text using strikeout the way it used to work? I want this
set of documents to all have the same appearance.

Hi Bill,
Go to Tools--Options--Track Changes. Uncheck the "Ballons"
box.

Tools, Options, Track Changes and deselect the 'Use
balloons ...' option.

However, deletions and insertions will remain in the same
colour - whereas in previous Word versions they are in
different colours.
