Track Changes - Word 2000 - Remove the strike through

How do we remove the changed text that is displayed with a
strike through. In other word, a document is edited and
changes are made, when the editor (same person who
originally wrote the document), reviews the document the
edited/changed text is displayed with a strike through.
How do we stop the edited/changed text from displaying.
There is only one person writing the documents and editing
same.

Go to "Tools" ,"Track changes" and make your selection.

Appreciate the help. However, we know howm to enable this,
its how to keep the strike through from showing up that we
need help with. Apparently this was changed in Office
2000 from Office 97.
