Track Changes Word v10

Every so often, my Track Change edits appear in a file in two colors, as if
some changes are input by one author and some by another. (Wordv.10,
Mac OS 10.33). Why does this happen?

Track Change colors are depended on the preference setting. The default
setting for the mark up is Œby author¹, meaning, each reviewer will have a
different color assigned to them. The other option is to set a specific
color for the type of mark up, such as Œred¹ for deleted text. So no matter
who deletes text in a document, it will be displayed in red.

Since this is a preference setting, the colors and display can differ from
computer to computer. Also, Word will use the User Info preference for
setting the reviewer name.

It sounded to me as though the original poster meant his edits show up in
the *same file* on the *same computer* in two colors, as though he were two
different people.
