We are having a problem with the track changes in Word. We use an
accounting program that is linking it's data into Word and Excel and the
track changes must be on per our own standards. Well, we just opened a
document and the changes were highlighted but some of the changes (in this
case additions) were doubled. At least. And a couple spaces in between
numbers (that were added) and words were removed so that the number and
following word were combined. Does any of this make sense?
For example: 2 columns of numbers, one column has the correct number in it
and it shows up correctly. The column next to it is supposed to be
something like 1,500,000. Well, that number is repeated maybe 10 times
within that column. They are all shown as being added to the document when
all it really is is a link from the accounting program and it is visibly in
there only once.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
