Track Changes

I have a user that is trying to record his track changes but the auther
color is the same as the previous auther. How can this be if MS Word is set
to Auther? According to what i have read it should auto pick atleast eight
different colors on its own.

I have loaded the same document onto my computer and i receive a different
color for each auther. So, it seems the issue is isolated to the users
computer. However, I have no idea what this setting could be because i have
set the users comptuer to the same settings as mine. Any ideas???

On user's computer, close Word (also close Outlook if user is using Word
as email editor in Outlook), and rename Word's data key in the Windows
registry. Where this key is depends on what versions of Word and
Windows that user has... unfortunately you don't seem to know, and we
can't see user's screen from here. See
