Track Changes

I am having trouble with Track Changes in Word 2002.
When I print a document with the changes marked, for some
reason, Word shrinks the entire page (scales it),
although Zoom is set to No Scaling. Has anyone else had
a similar problem, and if so, how did you rectify it?

I DON'T want to use the balloons, I DID disable them, yet
the text still prints scaled. I need the text to print
normal size with my regular margins, with the tracked
changes showing (i.e., double underlined for inserted
text and strike through for deleted text.) I can't seem
to get this effect. In previous versions of word (i.e.
97, I had no problem. So, to recap, I do NOT want
balloons, I HAVE disabled them, but I still get a large
right and bottom margin. What can I do?

Microsoft *will* provide the hotfix for free if it is determined that you
need it. Call the appropriate support number and open a support incident.
You will not be charged for the call if it is established that you are
eligible for the hotfix (just be sure not to ask any questions about
anything else!).

Have you checked whether this fix has been included in 2003?

I don't have 2003, and since you've snipped the rest of the thread, I don't
even know what fix we're talking about.

Hi Suzanne,
You of all people, Cindy, should know
that it is impossible to remember every detail of all the threads we post
in, especially a day or two later. <g>
But, you see, I have a newsreader where it's all nicely presented in a
"thread-tree", so that I know who said what, when and in answer to whom :)

FWIW, I copied in EXACTLY what was in your last message. Anything that was
snipped, you snipped yourself <shrug>

The original question that started the discussion was:

"I am having trouble with Track Changes in Word 2002.

reason, Word shrinks the entire page (scales it),
although Zoom is set to No Scaling. Has anyone else had
a similar problem, and if so, how did you rectify it?"

And you were talking about a Microsoft hotfix.
