Is there a short cut to turning on Track Changes? I have it clicked on my View menu, but when I open a document to edit, the tool bar does not open. I have to go to View, uncheck Mark up, open View again and click Mark up again. THEN it comes up with a dialog box that says no mark up exists on the current document. I have to click that off. That's at least five clicks. I shouldn't have to do that. Since it is already checked on View it should come up automatically. Why doesn't it and is there a shortcut through all of this??

Look at the bottom of the window. Do you see TRK ?

Click on that.

Not clear what you're doing in the View menu - Track Changes isn't
controlled from there. If you mean you're activating the Reviewing Toolbar,
that doesn't turn on Track Changes. Use the command in the Tools menu or the
TRK button on the Status Bar... But it only applies to the *active*
document, so don't bother to turn TC on until you open the doc. The toolbar
will automatically activate when you do (and it will go away if you open a
doc which doesn't contain reviewable content or create a new document).
