Track Editing

I've used this feature (Reviewing toolbar) in previous versions of Word, but
I'm having difficulty in Office XP. I find that the comments are very
difficult to read when they're printed to the right of the page; the font
for the document and the comments is very tiny, and it's also hard to follow
the lines back to the origination of the comment when there are a lot of
edits. Is there a way to print the comments separately? (I know that I can
choose to not have the lines show, but this is even more confusing. I also
know that I can turn the balloon feature off, but then how can I see the
comments?)

Also, when I show the reviewing pane, the changes and comments don't scroll
along with the movement of my mouse in the document, so I can't see the
correspondence between a change/comment and the document itself. I think it
used to scroll along in previous versions. Is there some way to change this?

And finally, is there a way to view the comments when mousing over that
point in the document? Sometimes this seems to occur and sometimes not. Is
there an option I'm supposed to activate? TIA.

To answer your question about priting out comments, I don't think you
can just print out the comments alone with out the original text.
However, you can print out the comments with the original text by going
into the Tools menu then clicking on Options. Once the Options window is
open, select the Print tab. Half way down is the option to print Hidden
Text. Select this and you should be able to print out the comments along
with your original text.
