Track History in Custom List?

Is it possible to create a Custom List, and include a
history that is the same as the one that comes with the
delivered Issues List? I cannot simply create a
new "Issues List" and name it something else, because
it's not possible to "create" an "issues list" using the
Project Workspace template that automatically creates the
project web sites once the project is published. Thank

KMM:

You should be able to do this by altering the base XML generating the site.
Spend time asking questions in the SharePoint groups, but don't tell them
you're using Project Server as this seems to raise a red flag. Ask your
questions generically.
