track page changes

M

Miguel

I need to maintain in each page individually the date of
the last change (if any for this page)... anyone know how
to do that ?

In another words... each page could have a differente
revision date... actually I do it manually but I will like
to know if is possible do that automatically.

Hi Miguel,

No, Word provides no facility for this.

Considering how Word functions, it wouldn't make much sense,
either. Since Word is fundamentally a word-processor, it
means that pages (and lines) are completely fluid: what's on
a page on one machine or with one printer is not necessarily
still on the same page in another configuration.

That's why Word's "track changes" functionality keeps track
of changes on a character-by-character basis.
