I need to save a book with tracked changes as individual chapters. Ho
do I do this without losing the coloured marks? If I copy even a fe
words and then paste them into a new document, the marks disappear. I
I turn on Highlight Changes in the new document, the whole text appear
as a change, but not the individual changes I made before copying an
pasting it.
I know I can delete all the text apart from the chapter I want to kee
and then save that as a separate document, but the whole thing runs t
50 chapters and more than 350 pages, and it will take me a long time t
do. I feel there must be a simpler solution.
The document has a page break at the end of each chapter, but n
section breaks and no master document/subdocuments.
I am using Word 2004 for Mac (OS 10.4.11).
Thank you.
