Tracking attendance

I'm looking to set up a tracking database that tracks holidays & sickness and
gives a report of how many for each employee so far at any point in the year.
Is this something that would be easy to set up or is there any examples
anywhere that i could use and modify??

I have this in my employee working hours database.

One table has employee info and a related table has weekly records of
holiday and absence (1-to-many relationship). Then you report all your sums
and whatever else.

I would appreciate that, would it still give me the option of adding to it
I'm only interested in the amount of staff, holidays taken, sickness taken
And the ability to run reprots that list year to date figures, monthlky
figures and also maybe tells me at a glance the worst offenders in sickness

track abscenses and anniversary dates, right now it is all manual and getting
tiresome keeping it all in two places
