Tracking Billable Hours

Need: log billable hours as the project manager against
estimated deliverables created in MS Project using
the "Work" field.

How do I enter ACTUAL WORK on a DAILY basis against
multiple tasks without having any other softare (e.g.,
server, time entry components) except MS Project 2002?
Is there a view? The "Task Usage" view is my work
allocated based on work and duration estimates - changes
there are not actuals and affect the rest of my
schedule. The "Task Entry" allows me to enter actuals,
but not on a DAILY basis.

Are there options that others have used such as exporting
information to excel and tracking time that way?

Currently, my organization enters time for invoicing
purposes into Niku Workbench at the summary level. To
get to the summary I need to have justifying hours
tracking for actuals at the day level.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Apply either the Task Usage view or the Resource Usage view. Right-click in
the timephased grid (yellow/white timesheet on the right side of the screen)
and select Actual Work from the shortcut menu. Zoom to Weeks over Days on
the timescale. You are now ready to enter Actual Work on a daily basis.
Hope this helps.
