tracking birthdays and anniversaries

Has anyone designed a software program so that you can create yearly
calendars without having to retype information each year. I would like to
track birthdays and anniversaries. They don't change from year to year but
the calendar does. How can a data base be created to merge with publisher
when you are trying to create calendars.

i am also very interested in this feature. i would also be interested help
with the object models involved to consider doing this myself. while i've
developed w/VB & .Net for many years, i'm not familiar with the object model
for this.

The Publisher 2003 object model is documented in c:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office11\1033\VBAPB10.CHM
