Tracking Changes - Changeing colors

I am the author of a document and am making revisions to it. I want to
chnage the redline color to denote new edits from the 1st version. Can
anyone guide me through this process? I am sure it is easy but I cannot
figure it out. THanks Peter

Just go into the Options dialog and change your user name -- maybe add
a digit to the end. The Track Changes feature will see the next batch
of edits as being done by a different user. If you have Word 2007, the
Change User Name command is on the dropdown menu of the Track Changes
button.

Assuming you've already set the Track Changes options to show the
colors of inserts, deletions, etc. as "By Author", the change of user
will cause a change of color.
