Tracking changes in Word 2002

Kathy

Hello,

I'm using Word 2002 Eng. version. After adding comments on a word document
(it appear as bulloons), the comments boxes would show my name, date & time
when move the mouse point over them. However, after a while, when I scroll
back to those comments boxes, the colour of comments boxes is changed and my
name is gone !! Instead, another name is shown !

I remember that I've encountered similar problem in Word 97 too ! Would
anyone please give me advice on this problem ? Thanks in advance !

Rdgs,
Kathy.

Kathy,

what appears in those balloons as you call them, comes
from the User Information tab under options. Check your
settings there to esure they are what you want.

Go to...

Tools | Options | User Information

Modify as needed. Additionally, you can change your track
changes options by...

Tools | Options | Track Changes: change the settings to
suit you there.

If your settings continue to change, there may be another
template that is overriding you. Check the documents you
open to see the attached template, whether normal, or
otherwise. Be careful of those containing unknown macros.
