Hi,
I'm looking at shared workbooks and tracking the changes.
When I turn on track changes on screen each cell that is
altered gets a highlight and a comment containing the
correct user ID.
However when I track changes as a history on a seperate
worksheet rather than seeing these useful user IDs I get a
strange decimal number that appears to have some relation
to the time of change. Confusingly the number that is
shown in the 'who' column can be the same for different
people's changes.
Using the filer before converting the changes to a
historic spreadsheet, I can successfully select which
user's changes I want to view, so the correct information
is there somewhere.
Any ideas anyone?
I am using Excel 2000 on NT4.
Thanks,
Neil
