tracking changes: where is the window?

Dear Colleague,

I am reviewing a document in which many changes have been made with
the "tracking changes" on. I am using the "reviewing" toolbar to make
the changes and everything is fine.

However this morning it suddenly became better! There were
unexpectedly a couple of extra panes at the bottom of the page which
showed the next couple of changes to be reviewed. This was very useful
as the text size was appreciably larger than in the usual balloons.

On reloading this afternoon, they have not reappeared and I cannot
find out, either from the help or the MVP site how to display them.

Can you help please?

One extra point: when I tried searching MVP for "tracking and changes"
to read articles about this subject, it produced nothing relevant at
all about the subject oin general or the particular point I am after.

There's a button on the far right end of the Reviewing toolbar for the
Reviewing Pane.
