Tracking changes??

Hi, I'm having a weird problem -- in sending a document back and forth, the
other person keeps seeing the document in "track changes" mode, with the red
cross-outs and what not. It does not show on my PC. We both have Windows
XP. What is going on here?

Not a windows XP, but a Word issue (unless you meant Word XP and
mistyped)

I "believe" this is PC dependant behavior and not saved with the
document. Simply turn on or off the tracking visibility as required.
Right click the "TRK" in the status bar and go through the options.
