tracking changes

Hello Dear:
Would that be possible to track changes in column entry,
Gantt view or table entry? We can use baseline for
tracking start to completion of the project which is great
but this does not apply to the customized columns.

Hello Majid,
The Save Baseline command does nothing more than a copy and paste from the
scheduled data to the baseline.
So you can do the same (manually) for your customized fields.
For ex, if you use the Number1 field as scheduled data, insert the Number2
field, renamed Baseline x....
Copy all the data from Number1 to Number2.
You could insert a third field (Number3) with a formula like :
[Number1]-[Number2]

Thank you this is good and works for numbers
what I am interested to have is somthing similar to audit
trail in excell because I want to know when was the last
time that the column inforamtion being added or revised.
I hope there is a solution to it.

Majid,

You can export to Excel all the data which are displayed in a column, tasks
data or resources data or assignments data.
Try :
File / Save As... / File Type : Microsoft Excel Workbook (.xls)
then create a "map" with is a collection of the columns you want to export.
