Tracking database changes

I want to update and publish a database model, and list the changes since the previous update. Is there a way to automate this task with VISIO. I could export the VISIO data and compare with another MS app or something. I just want to make this job fast and easy. If it's too cumbersome, I can maintain the model, but the team will have to figure out the changes by themselves.

generate a word document of the table/columns.
