TRACKING LOGGED QUERIES

I need some sort of tracking whereby my team can input what their supplier
queries are and by supplier invoice, who the query has been sent to and when.
Also, any status update etc. At present, I am bombarded by the rest of the
business who say that my team is not performing and not querying issues
timeously - my team says they are - all I have is my team's word as they have
no record. A tracking spreadsheet of sorts would enable me to check with the
other departments if indeed they have received the query and follow up on
it's resolution.

How are the query's transmitted to the other departments? If by email, there
should be copies there. Make it a rule that you are CC'ed on all such emails
and make a standard email subject line so that you can recognize such emails
and build rules to automatically move such emails to a folder.
