Tracking on Calendar a delegated task via Email?

I often assign tasks to subordinates by email with a due date. I've been
using the Franklin Covey Add-in for Outlook that adds a drop down box which
includes (delegate and send). When this is selected, the Task dialog box
comes up and you select the due date. This task then appears on your calendar
(as a task) on the date that it is due.

Can something like this be done in Outlook 2007 with the need for using the
add-in?

Thank you.

I am not sure about the delegate feature. But you can set reminders on due
dates both for the recipient and yourself for a action in a mail to be
completed. This will prompt you if the due date you mention is overdue. I
think you will be able to see it in the To do bar in Office 2007.

By the way you can try out that in a trial office 2007. Goto
