Tracking Resource Notification in PWA for Project Server 2007

Once resources have been assigned to a task in Project Server 2007, the plan
published; the resources should get a notification that they have been
assigned a task (providing the user have not turned off the notification).
Is there a way to determine as a user or admin, if the notification was
created and received. Essentially I would like to validate the workflow. Is
this possible?
