Transfer Contacts List

K

Kelly

Hi all. I am currently working on a company laptop with
Windows 2000 and the Office 2000 package. Also we use and
exchange server for Outlook.

I am looking for a way to transfer my "contacts List" to
my home pc.

I have Windows XP at home also the Office 2000 package but
no exchange server.

I believe my "contacts" information is local on my laptop
and not a part of the address book our company shares on
the exchange server.

Can anyone give me advice or tell me what other info I
need to share to get an answer?

I think it has to do with coping some .pst files but where
do I find them and how do I know which files and where to
export them too?

Great group,

Thanks, Kelly

What makes you think your Contacts are stored locally? That would be unusual
running against Exchange Server.
This is a question for your Exchange administrator.

You are right Russ, I am told they are stored in the
exchange server. So how would I get these contacts to my
home PC?

Ask your Exchange administrator for permission, and (s)he will tell you how.
Anything on your Exchange server is proprietary information and belongs to
your company.
